14 year old Isak Reiersen ready for two events in RX Academy
Isak Reiersen (JC Raceteknik Juniorteam) starts this tears motorsport season in RX Academy. He will run the first two competitions in Höljes (May 6) and Honkajoki (May 16). The 14-year-old drove all four events in RX Academy on Ice, where he impressed with good lap times right away and a fourth place in his second rallycross competition ever. During this week he has been in Finland together with the RX Academy for three days training camp. There, the young drivers got physical and mental coaching, talked about the season and got a visit from the World RX-driver Toomas Heikkinen.
Usually Reiersen competes in crosskart, which has resulted in several Swedish Championship-medals in the class 125cc. This year he switches up there and will run the full season in 250cc.
Isak Reiersen:
"To compete in RX Academy again feels fantastic. If I look back to this winter, I can really see how much I've learned and developed both on the track and as a person. So driving again is really good for the future. My goal is to develop as a driver and be able to make good results. Of course, it is easy to say this before. Because I know that when I stand there on the start grid with other cars next to me, I always want to make as good a result as possible - meaning be the first driver across the finish line, haha. I would also like to thank JC Raceteknik this time for helping me with everything, it's means a lot to me."
